How old is sawyer lost

Why were their lives manipulated? No one ever tells viewers why these particular individuals were chosen, Sawyer included. In season six Sawyer, once again being told he is very important. While traveling with the man in black disguised once again as Locke they both travel across the island. Locke promises Sawyer answers. What they both find is a young boy in the jungle who tells Locke, "You know the rules, you can't kill him.

Again, viewers are never told. Season six was quite the season for questions and answers, although always more questions. Locke seems just as shocked as viewers that Sawyer sees anything at all. But neither the man in black nor the viewing audience is ever told why it is that Sawyer can see island spirits as well as those with much more magical backstories.

Like our main cast a polar bear makes its first appearance in the pilot episode of Lost. While writers try to explain away its appearance and Sawyer showing up to shoot it and later on say they were used in experiments by the DHARMA initiative or even used to turn the wheel to manipulate the island's energy. But this doesn't happen until much later in the show's run. However, magical kid Walt is seen in season one reading about a polar bear in a comic book.

Many still wonder whether or not Walt conjured the original bear that Sawyer put to death. Poor Sawyer is left almost alone when the island goes on the fritz and starts time traveling. Our other faves escaped on a freighter that Sawyer sees has blown up. So he is left behind, but why does he travel through time on the island when others do not? What about Danielle and Ethan? They don't seem to notice the changes or the flash of light when the island moves. Sawyer both travels through time and notices that he can?

Time travel and all of the timelines don't come together nicely at series end, but here it's Sawyer we question in particular.

Holloway would take roles in Mission: Impossible — Ghost Protocol, Paranoia , and Sabotage , the kinds of films starring big name actors that can build a career into something special. However, his parts in these films were supporting at best ; his only major starring role in a picture from would be the lead in Battle of the Year: The Dream Team , which managed a whopping 6 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.

If you've never heard of it , here's the trailer Finding appealing film opportunities increasingly hard to come by, Holloway would eventually pivot back to the small screen, returning to television in After struggling to get a serious film career off the ground, Holloway returned to the small screen as the main character in the CBS show Intelligence , an American cyber-themed action-adventure television series that only aired 13 episodes before getting the axe.

Holloway starred as Gabriel, dubbed "this generation's Manhattan Project," a tech-enhanced man designed to tackle major threats while working for U. Cyber Command. With Intelligence , CBS wasn't trying to reinvent the wheel — and there's something to be said for easy-to-digest thrillers where the good guys are Capital G Good and the bad guys are shady beyond belief. Brian Lowry of Variety said the show "felt like a throwback — and a comfortable, well-constructed one at that. Spending years trying to recapture the success Lost brought to his career, Holloway would finally find another winning project in Colony, a science fiction drama that ran on USA Network for three seasons.

Though it never managed to capture a large audience, Colony was a cult hit that was generally successful with critics, even managing to garner three straight Saturn Awards nominations for "Best Science Fiction Television Series" in , and Colony is set in a dystopian version of Los Angeles , where residents live under military occupation by the Transitional Authority, an organization serving an extraterrestrial group referred to as the "Hosts.

Coming off the heels of a cult hit in Colony , Josh Holloway landed a role in the third season of Paramount Network's Yellowstone. This is a huge break for Holloway, as the show has been a major hit for the Paramount Network.

Yellowstone stars Kevin Costner as Billionaire John Dutton, the patriarch of the Dutton family which controls the largest contiguous ranch in the United States. The Dutton family is under constant attack by those around them — whether it be land developers, the local Indian reservation, or America's first National Park — and show co-creator Taylor Sheridan screenwriter of Hell or High Water and Sicario intends the show to be a look at a violent world separated from typical media scrutiny.

In talking about Yellowstone , Sheridan has said , "The show is both timely and timeless. As much as it explores themes painfully relevant to the world today, it explores the very essence of family, and how the actions of one member can alter the course of generations. With his role in Yellowstone and his signing with industry heavy-hitter United Talent Agency in , it's safe to say the future is looking bright for Josh Holloway.

According to persistent rumors, ABC is apparently interested in bringing Lost back from the dead to satiate all those fans who were let down by the ending. According to Entertainment Tonight , network president Karey Burke expressed a desire to revisit the drama after a video compilation of past and present network shows played before a room of reporters at a Television Critics Association press tour.

It's hard to fathom a show with a cast that large getting a full-fledged relaunch, but nothing is ever out of the realm of possibility in television. If Lost does come back, providing the legions of diehard fans with even more content to obsess over, the showrunners may have a hard time pulling Holloway away from whatever project he lines up next. Alberto E.

Josh Holloway, family man Alberto E. Just before the crash, Sawyer is informed that the con man who ruined his life is living in Australia under the name Frank Duckett. Sawyer shoots and kills him but realizes from Duckett's dying words that he has only been manipulated into killing an innocent man who owed another con artist money.

Once again Sawyer has been robbed of his innocence by those who would use him as a pawn for their own gain. Things Got Interesting When Sawyer's "finders keepers" attitude strikes the other survivors as needlessly greedy, and he's tortured by Sayid when he refuses to hand over Shannon's inhalers after she has an asthma attack.

It turns out that he never had them in the first place. Sawyer continues to be a loner among the survivors, rarely risking his own life for the sake of the community. While it's still not clear whom Kate's heart has settled on, Sawyer has definitely gotten closer to her: The two made love while imprisoned by the Others, as Jack jealously watched via a security camera.

Kate befriends Cassidy during her time on the run. And in one of Boone's flashbacks, Sawyer is seen in the background being arrested by the Australian police after getting into a bar fight. His Season 3 Story: It's finally revealed that the con man who destroyed Sawyer's family was Anthony Cooper, Locke's biological father. The Others tell Locke to kill Cooper and prove himself worthy, but he instead gets Sawyer to do the deed by revealing the truth about Cooper's past.

Sawyer strangles Cooper to death, but later falls into a deep depression.
